Why Families Love Living in Audubon, NJ

Every August, Audubon starts to shift. Vacations are wrapping up, school supplies are everywhere, fall sports are starting, and before we know it, the first day of school will be here.

And honestly, this time of year is one of my favorite reminders of why families love living in Audubon.

It Actually Feels Like a Community

Audubon is one of those towns where you start recognizing people pretty quickly. You see the same families at the park, around town, at school events, at Audubon Day, grabbing dinner, or walking through the neighborhood.

There is always something going on, but it still has that small-town feel that can be hard to find this close to Philadelphia.

You Can Walk, Bike and Actually Enjoy Your Neighborhood

One of my favorite things about Audubon is how connected everything feels. Kids ride bikes to friends' houses. Families walk to the playground. You can grab coffee or dinner without necessarily getting in the car.

And with the new Audubon to Haddon Heights trail underway, there will eventually be another way for residents to walk, run and bike between the two communities.

Location Is a Big Part of the Appeal

Audubon gives you that neighborhood feel while keeping you close to everything. Haddonfield, Haddon Township, Collingswood and Cherry Hill are all minutes away, and Philadelphia is an easy trip for work, restaurants, sports and entertainment.

That combination is a big reason I continue to see buyers looking specifically in Audubon and the surrounding towns.

There Isn't Just One Type of Audubon Home

One of the things I love about Audubon real estate is the variety. You'll find bungalows, Colonials, Cape Cods, twins, renovated homes and houses that still have all of their original charm.

Whether someone is buying their first home, looking for more space for a growing family, or ready to downsize, there are a lot of different ways to make Audubon home.

And Yes, I'm Biased

My family chose Audubon, and when we needed more space, we chose Audubon again.
